“This body of work is truly an introduction to me,” RIAA-certified platinum pop singer-songwriter John K states of the recent release of his debut album in case you miss me. “I kind of went underground for the past year, but now it’s time. I’m back, and I’m putting out my favorite material. I’m just going to let the music do the talking.”

The highly anticipated release, which John has been teasing across his socials, comes hot on the heels of lead single “everything.” John describes “everything” as being a breakthrough for him and his team that led them into a new sound. The song even made it on Billboard’s “10 New Pop Songs To Get You Through The Week”.

Constructed with a grandiose vision in mind, John leveraged the talents of his day one creative trust — Donte Blaise, Rob Zarrilli, and Ian Gagnon — as well as executive producer MIDI Jones and co-producer Wynne. A true team effort, the album illuminates the diverse scope of his fluid, focused, and fiery signature style.

5 months in the making, the 12-track album is pieced together very brilliantly. Whilst it is hard to pick a favorite (because they are all so good!), I will say that some of my mine include “different,” “shadows,” “don’t” and “wouldn’t you agree”. “different” opens with an ethereal guitar and its catchy chorus is one that you won’t be able to get off your mind. John’s emotionally charged delivery on “shadow” evokes an earnest story telling on the mellow track that would be perfect on the playlist for a road trip. Perfectly closing out the album is “wouldn’t you agree”. The upbeat track, supported by vibey synths and punchy beats complements John’s vocals and as soon as it draws to an end you are sure to find yourself hitting replay on in case you miss me.
