Emily Weisband shares her brand new song “Psychopath,” the latest off her forthcoming EP – I Call It Being Human – arriving on April 2! The new five-track EP will also include recently released single “New Salt“ and continues Emily’s journey from behind the scenes and into the spotlight after writing celebrated songs for artists like Camila Cabello, Dan + Shay, BTS with Halsey, and Keith Urban. The psychedelic video, which adopts the use of neon-centric colors and double exposure, was directed by Chris Ashlee and Ceci Mula. Emily co-wrote the song with Tofer Brown and it was produced by Sam Sumser and Sean Small.

We shame each other and ourselves a lot for how we feel. We call ourselves and others crazy, dramatic, unstable, or just plain too much for our emotions and the different ways we handle them. What would happen if we just let each her be those things?
— Emily Weisband

It’s all about embracing our intimate, imperfect experiences that make up who we are, and Emily expounds upon the concept of the song on her recent Instagram post.
