Fly By Midnight's "I Need You More Than You Want Me" is a certified bop!
The past weekend saw a slew of fresh releases in the music world that are nothing short of amazing! Amongst them is Fly By Midnight's latest release "I Need You More Than You Want Me", which immediately captured our attention in the sea of new offerings.
The new single comes hot on the heels of previous releases such as "Toy" and "Waiting Tables". Employing their signature retro-pop sound, the New-York based duo consisting of songwriter Justin Bryte & producer/songwriter Slavo combined a groovy synth reminiscent of the '80s alongside catchy beats to elevate the narrative.
Lyrically, it tells the story of "coming to a realization that you want a person more than they want you", a situation in which the duo admits to both have been through albeit this being the first time they have expressed through song.
