Alt-pop tour de force Jackie Castro unveils a refreshing new track titled “Best of Me.” This latest offering follows up her March release with DJ Dipha Barus “Flower” which made two Spotify playlist covers, 10 New Music Fridays, 3 Apple Playlists, and much more editorial love on other digital streaming platforms. “Best of Me” serves as the next sample of what’s to come on Jackie’s debut album slated for release in June 2021. A perfect soundtrack for a relationship montage in a coming of age film (think To All The Boys I Loved Before), the track jubilates a love that embraces the flaws and all. “You never saw me as broken, you saw me as whole from the start,” Jackie mesmerizes in the lyrics. There is something sweet about how the record isn’t drowning in production but rather having the production act as a supporting cast for the main character which is Jackie’s exquisite vocals and lyrics.
Since last month, Jackie is on the path of trajectory. She saw a 564% Increase in Spotify Listeners and a 315% Increase in Apple Music Listeners. We were so happy to have had her on this season and cannot wait to hear more new music from this lovely songbird!
