John-Robert Releases Poignant "Healthy Baby Boy"

In an age where words can get lost in the music and almost have no meaning, Singer and Producer John-Robert releases a powerful storytelling track with “Healthy Baby Boy” on Warner Records. The track tells the narrative of John’s move from small-town Virginia to the “land of dreams” of LA. The track’s empathetic tones of navigating the trials of being independent for the first time make the lyrics that much more resonant. With sweeping guitar melodies and an ethereal quality to John’s vocals, it’s a captivating combination resulting in a heart-warming track.
Along with the single, a visual was released with Warner Records and Nice Life Recording Company, and it was directed by Spencer ford. The visual companion cinematically depicts the story in a moving and honest way. The viewer witnesses John’s departure from his parents to his visions of young romance.
At age 16, he was invited out to L.A. by Rickey Reed, who’s described him as “a transcendent, once-in-a-generation singer and songwriter.” His single, “Adeline” has over 1.8 million streams, and even got praise from pop-sensation Camilla Cabello. In May, John released his debut EP, “Bailey Barely Knew Me,” featuring “Adeline” and other standout tracks.
