Stories Worth Sharing - Morgan Harper Nichols

When I was going through a rough patch in my life, Vee (Producer, Pop Nerd Lounge) sent me these beautiful pieces of art on Instagram with uplifting messages. The more I saw them, the more I empathized with them. I am constantly reminded that we all go through seasons in life, and we must all find that spark in us that keeps us going when it’s tough. Morgan Harper Nichols who creates those poems has been a light in the very broad space that is social media. Since 2017, strangers have shared their stories with Nichols anonymously and she creates inspiring messages. I had the pleasure and honor of sitting down with Morgan for an uplifting conversation about dealing with our inner critic, her journey for creating poems and art for others, and remembering that people can be impacted by our works as creatives.
