When I first heard “I Wanna Be Your James Dean” by Tomi Saario, I couldn’t help but groove and dance to this flirty and catchy record. However, Beyond the single, I knew there was a story to unfold based off his EP, “I Think We Need To Talk.” Tomi had ties to the music world (his uncle is the most successful songwriter in Finland), but he wanted to make a name for himself. His affinity for blues and incredible knack to create pop hooks and melodies that won’t leave the listener’s head make him a standout and one of pop’s rising stars.
